Favorite lines
I think my all-time favorite line from KN is during Anna Vincenzo's. CeCe's [Italian] father says:
"Chef Ramsay...I'm surprised nobody break his legs yet."
Love it!

I like to count the number of times Gordon says "ever" when describing the owner/restaurant/chef. Because the more "ever"s you get, the worse you are.
Gordon: In all my years, i have never ever ever ever ever (etc)...
...met a man as stubborn as you.
...seen a kitchen as disorganized as this.
...seen so much frozen food.
...seen a dirtier kitchen.
...met a chef as lazy as you.
I think the most he hit was 5 "ever"s. Probably when talking to Sebastian or Amy.
Fraaaank. FRANK! Get my jean bin. Susie wants my jeans.
No she doesnt.
There are so many! One of my favorites was the Handlebar episode, when Ramsay stood in the alley and yelled "Billy!!!!" at the retreating owner. Not really a line, but it always reminds me of A Streetcar Named Desire, all Gordon needed to do was rip his shirt to make it perfect! Another is when, after telling Sebastian off, Ramsay said "That's pissed on his bonfire"!
shareMy favorite Ramsey line is from Hannah and Masons "Hey panini head."
The other one I laughed at was from Levanti's when the co-owner explained his inspiration for crappy food comes from Jesus.
Oh, yes, the God inspired recipe. That was great.

I liked the Oceana episode in "Nahlins". The whole thing about the older brother thinking chef Ramsay spoke a different language was hilarious.
shareMe too! I especially loved the scene in Oceans when the smarter brother told the angry one that "busy idiot" is a compliment in "British", in order to calm him. The rest of the show the brother keeps telling Gordon to "speak English".
shareOceana isn't one of my favorites, but I'm watching it right now. Moe says [regarding Gordon], "I'll send him back to BRITISH with a black eye!"

Oceana is funnier than any sitcom i've ever seen. It's probably my favorite KN episode just for the humor/entertainment value.
I love when Rami has to "step over to the other side" and stand next to Gordon to tell him that the crabcakes are frozen.
But Moe... what can you say about him. Too many great quotes in this one.
Fraaaank. FRANK! Get my jean bin. Susie wants my jeans.
No she doesnt.
It doesn't get any more amusing than Rami telling Moe that Ramsay "doesn't speak English, he speaks British!" then Moe saying that he should have got a British dictionary!
shareYou know, the strangest thing happened! As I've noted before, Oceana was never one of my favorite episodes, so I normally skipped it. But after reading comments about it on this board, I decided to give it a try--a couple of times recently! And now I love it. The part about "busy idiot" being a compliment over in British is just priceless.

The Fish and Anchor...
... when Gordon is imitating the way the husband Mick calls his wife Karen and it's basically just a loud, nasally grunt.

That's my favorite part of that episode!

🎄Season's Greetings!🎁🎅🎄
I've been submitting quotes to episodes from all season the passed month or so. A number of good ones, but one that really sticks out is when he used a quote he used to use a lot in his U.K. shows.
He was in a walk-in that was terrible and one of the cooks comes in to get something and Gordon won't let him and then tells him "Now f*(k off!", pointing him away.
And the cook quietly replies, "Yes, sir." and leaves.
_____
The New Number 2: "Are you going to run?"
Number 6: "Like blazes. First chance I get."
that's good.

And the cook quietly replies, "Yes, sir." and leaves.
You're not alone, I noticed it too. I even made the comment that part of their financial problems was probably her constant plastic surgeon bills!
shareShe has that weird, unnatural 'frozen' look so many Hollywood women of a certain age have. If she lived here, she'd look right at home!

The Fish and Anchor...KAH!!! KAH!!!

I'll have to be on the lookout for good zingers next time I'm binge-watching; I know there are a lot of great ones but I'm drawing a near complete blank right now. I can say that I always enjoy it when he yells "You muppet!" at someone who's screwed something up.
shareYep, Ramsay and the various owners/staff give us PLENTY of zingers!
One of my absolute favorites is from Sabatiello's. Sammy, the owner, is doing one of his confessional shots, and he says that he's "so mad I'm FUMIGATING!"
In Olde Stone Mill, a waitress [whose name escapes me right now] says that Mike, the chef, really "likes to PRESENTATE the food well."

Yeah that one I think was from The Runaway, a Spanish food music bar. The owner brought a plate back to the kitchen to tell Ramsey that the customer wanted a medium done steak, except the plate was empty except for a few bits of gristle. Then the owner says, "well, what does that bit look like." Ramsey replies "What do you think this piece looks like? It's medium done, NOW STOP GIVING HIM[the head chef] S**T." The owner walks out of the kitchen, Ramsey yells "YOU *beep* MUPPET."
shareWatching "Seascape Inn" at this moment. Owner says with a genuine smile, "I'm really excited. I have a little bit of butterflies in my stomach. I'm going to be insulted by the best chef in the world!"
shareIt's from the UK show, but I always crack up when Ramsay calls Brian, the owner of Fenwick Arms, a "cantankerous old bat"!
shareOh my goodness--I just watched "The Fenwick Arms" yesterday for the first time in AGES. I had forgotten how much I liked that episode--and Gordon was right, Brian was a cantankerous old bat!

My favorite one is from Fiesta Sunrise. "Half of it's *beep* fat, you idiot!" It's fatter than you."Good one!

These are all great. I'm laughing just reading them. I love when the restaurant has some kind of hideous/strange decoration as he walks into the place. Not remembering exactly which episodes they were but the woman mannequin and that ridiculously huge pink flamingo outside the other restaurant. I love Gordon's reactions when he sees them.
shareYeah, the mannequin was in one of the newer episodes...was it Old Neighborhood? And the *HUGE* pink flamingo was in front of Cafe Hon...in Baltimore...

From the Capri episode, when one of the twins throws a punch at Gordon's hand mats and Gordon goes, "Oh, for God's sake...what was that? *reenacts pathetic punch* Poo."
From the Cafe 36 episode, Gordon calls Pinto or whatever the chef's name is, "You wombat."
And my favorite from an episode I can't remember is when he calls one of the sous chefs a *beep* doughnut."
