I wish the film spent more time on Nick and Norah

I like the film and the soundtrack is great. Even though I don't dislike the characters of Nick's gay friends/Band Mates, Caroline or Tris. I liked that Jay Baruchel play agaisnt type (he would have made a good Nick too).

But I think I would have rather have had this film more like Before Sunrise/Sunset but for high schoolers. Basically a two hander with Nick and Norah just walking around the city, just getting to know one another without any of the distractions like Best friends, Drunken friends and exes that I think hurt the film a bit as it focus too much on them. You can still have the Fluffy secret gig thing as the end goal of the story, but main focus just be on them building their friendship to relationship.

I like the performances from Michael Cera and Kat Dennings.

Again I like the film but I think it could have been a lot stronger with more focus on the two main characters. Funny in the book, it is actually like Before Sunrise/Sunset. The Writer of the film added all the finding drunken friend and other stuff supposedly.
