Why does every black film have a scene in a Church?
?
Candy is Dandy but Liquor is Quicker
Not every black film does. And even if every black film did, whats it to you?
shareThe Black community is predominantly Christian.
shareI am pretty sure the white community is predominately Christian also.
shareBut movies like this play into every Black stereotype in the book. Thus the church scenes where the preacher acts completely over the top for no reason.
shareWhat difference does it make? It's just a movie, if a person wants to think all black preachers are over dramatic, so what? Does it really make anyones life better or worse? I think not. This movie is simply for entertainment and not a social commentary.
shareThere are plenty of cities in America where there are no Black people. So something that may be "just a movie" for you can be social commentary for them since it's all they see.

You are not very bright. Being "foolish" or "gullible" enough is not a black thing, there are many more white christians for you to focus in on as well if you just want to go off on your christians are dumb rhetoric. Last time I checked the overwhelming majority of this country was white AND christian, get a life.

That is the truth. Where is Kat Williams and why is Mike Epps playing his part?
shareBecause the fat black ladies need a place to fan themselves?
