AVENGERS INFINITY WAR official trailer

RIP DCEU.
Me likey.
shareVery good trailer. CGI could've been done better on thanos, but not nearly as bad as Steppenwolf's. It's sad cuz I'm actually a bigger fan of dc characters and back in the day the only marvel characters I was interested in were the x-men.
sharestill half year to go. Plenty of time to tweak to CGI. And I hope they do tweak it.
shareAgree. I look at Thanos and I see a video game.
shareWhy is he purple now?
shareHe actually looks less purple in the IW trailer than he did in AoU. Either way, the color change is odd.
shareThe color change doesn't bother me as it is no different than the varying color look of almost any character on the printed page and the different lighting used for any person.
Artists have drawn characters and inkers, pencilers, and colorist have all varied the tone, warmth and look.
The Hulk has been various shades of "Green" since, well, forever and people critique the Hulk as if he were TOO green. What does that even mean?
I wonder if Thanos blushes and what color is his blood anyway?
The CGI looks outstanding for Thanos. The texture in his face and his slight mannerisms (his apparently sniffing the air with dismissive disdain) makes you forget his skin tone.
I just see a Boss. The reviewers at Double Toasted nailed their comic interpretation of Thanos as a guy who just stepped out of prison and is ready to go back in for whipping a MF'ers azz!

For every person who sees a Video game character there are 100 people who see nothing but attitude.
Looks like another film with 5 minutes of story content and two hours of non-stop and rather pointless sfx action scenes.
Welcome to the new era of dumb films and even dumber film viewers that will give it greater marks than they did to godfather (I'm not a big fan of GF but at least it had a story).
Superhero movies are supposed to be entertaining and simple, not a philosophic work.
shareActually, it's not that I'm looking for extreme depth in these films, but rather more story content.
I've recently posted a comment in regards to the Justice League film - where I noted my surprise at this movie being much better than I thought it would have been.
The story in JL, as some have mentioned, was pretty much identical to the first Avengers film, but I thought it was much better executed via more and better written dialogues and the overall narrative.
I have no issue with superhero films - in fact, I still like the first 3 xmen movies.
I do, however, find myself quickly losing interest when there's way too much action and much less story content.
By the way, I thought the first transformers film was OK - the sequels were dismal at best.
the only 3 CBM movies I'd say are "interesting"from the writing point of view is the very first X-Men [don't care for the others], Civil War and Watchmen.
Growing up with the Transformers G1 back in the 80's [and the movie], knowing that a Transformers movie was about to happen made me shit in my pants with excitement. That excitement died out as soon as I watched ithe trailers though. But I guess the squared looking robots wouldn't work either.
X-Men First Class has a great story (for a superhero movie) too.
shareSo wait....new era?
Let's see.....
Star Wars (a classic, but come on....not deep)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (a classic until you realize the hero never even had to BE there for the last act of the movie for things to turn out exactly as they did)
Batman Forever
ANY Transformers movie
Independence Day
Pearl Harbor
I'm sure I can show that what you're railing against is hardly new and you just need to accept it's not your cup of tea and go see any of the other movies playing in your multiplex.
Exactly! There are enough 'Revenant', 'The English Patient', 'Shakespeare in Love' type of movies in the theaters of the world for people like him to watch. Why keep bitching about movies that were supposed to be about SFX action scenes? Go watch what you like and leave the rest of the world alone.
shareI mean, if the poster for Infinity War says "In the spirit of Schindler's List and The Color Purple, Marvel brings you Avengers: Infinity War"....then he has a case.
While I dislike the 1998 Godzilla as a movie, I remember people complaining that the characters were not developed and there was not a lot of story behind it. I replied to them "What movie did you think you were seeing? It's called Godzilla. Did you see a giant lizard trash a city? Yes? Then you got exactly what the title promised.".
<<<<<<<<
"In the spirit of Schindler's List and The Color Purple, Marvel brings you Avengers: Infinity War"
>>>>>>>>>
lol.
"Yes, this movie is bad, it has over the top action, ridiculous gadgets and the protagonist always get away from impossible situations, i don't like those" - Me: Why the hell did you come to see a James Bond movie then, are you retard?
I thought for a moment you were describing the Trump presidency.....
