ABANDON SHIP!!! ABANDON SHIP!!!!
DC really needs to reboot this universe and plan it better. Ben Affleck quitting ok, but an actor ditching his DCEU role and switching to the rival, thats embarrassing.
sharethe most interesting tidbit is that Laurence approached the MCU with ideas for the Phase 4.
Literally he is abandoning ship.
Way to go Laurence Fishburne!!!! He's a very good actor who was sadly miscast, in an embarrassment up there with John Wayne as Genghis Khan. I wish Fishburne had been Captain Sisko in the 90s instead of the untalented "actor" Avery Brooks.
Now, Amy Adams, Chris Pine, Jeremy Irons, and Gal Gadot should follow suit. Appearing in these crapfest Snyderverse movie is beneath their talent.
Well I guess he'll get decent money out of these awful comic book movies. That will secure him a nice retirement. Hard to believe how young he was when Coppola cast him for Apocalypse Now. Recently i had occasion to see him in one of his more prominent early roles in the laughable Death Wish 2. Wish he would think twice before this comic book horseshit but it's a good way for an actor to make a few bucks. Rrmember the days when Robert Downey Jr. Was acclaimed for his acting? That's been at least 10 years.Glad Linklater was able to give Fishburne a decent role before he starts emoting nonstop in front of a green screen
shareEveryone wants to be where the money is. Laurence is no different.
Besides the DCEU he also did the Matrix, which is quite comic book-like and has a damn lot of Green screen on it.
The art of acting is not dependent on there being a green screen or not. But it definitely emphasizes the actors ability to immerse his, or herself in the part.
Then, abandons the ASAP for the TGIF. ;-)
