shareJust because you can make a fire that doesn't mean you can burn down a plantation. Living plants don't really burn well in the first place. Try lighting a live leaf on fire. Secondly this particular plant seems to be able to, well, move. And pretty damn quickly.

Just look at the video that's been making its rounds of the anti-GMO crowd from a woman complaining that her cabbage leaf won't burn when put on the stove. Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it's, iirc, ≈80% water. No, no. That's too logical.
