Favorite moment in the movie?

i always get a kick out of two moments

1. during zydrate anatomy the back-up singers go "dou dou dou dudu"
2. nathan headbutts one of the henchwomen when he arives at the opera stage.

My favourite and least favourite are in the same scene:

HATEDHATEDHATED Shiloh's angst song about being 17 and blah,blah.blah go cut yourself...but then, the most amazing thing ever happens the song is suddenly stopped by *WHAM* ASH bitch-slaps that ungrateful witch!

I loved that. I was visibly cringing during that moment, and it ended in such a BRILLIANT way.

I must admit this is partly due to the fact that I've always wanted to see Giles slap someone, there were moments in Buffy that I was rooting for it and it never happened! He verbally bitch-slapped a couple scoobies, but never literally.

When Amber Sweet's face falls off

At the very start of 17, when Shilo is standing with a smug sort of look on her face. Thats definitely her best look in the whole film.

"Let the Monster Rise"

Without a doubt. The confrontation and the defeat and submission of Nathan and Shilo. The battle betweent the two of them and then Nathan just giving into his Repo Monster. Brilliant.

And any scene with the Graverobber. He's so much evil fun!

I have mentioned in other threads how much I dislike the music. However, there are certain things I feel work well dramatically.

- Blind Mag's final performance. A powerful conclusion for a morable character and one of the few instances where the music isn't cringe-inducingly bad.

- Blame Not My Cheeks. Too bad they cut the song short, because it is one of those instances where the daftness of the music works. I love the hot male dancers and the way Amber just looks embarassed about having lost her face (you're a horrible freak now, woman - you should be horrified!).

- Blind Magic projecting a hologram of Shilo's mother. If for no other reason than that it looks cool.

I love just about all the moments listed above, so I'll say one that hasn't been:

Pavi's expression and little disappointed noise when Rotti says "or your just-as-worthless-brother". He's still grinning though, which is amazing.

You can't argue with my logic! Well, you can, but I won't listen!
