SHILO

It's a tie between GraveRobber and Pavi, With Amber Sweet a close second.

Grave Robber, then it's tied between Luigi, Pavi, and Nathan.

Graverobber was my absolute favourite. But besides him Pavi (Ogre was the main reason I wanted to see the movie, haha) and Nathan/Repo Man.

I would have to go with Nathan/Repo Man. It was ASH that hooked me on seeing it in the first place. I always loved Giles and knew that he had a good voice from OMWF. He was just great in it. I liked the Graverobber, he was a fun character. Really I liked everyone in it. The music was good, I enjoyed everyone's singing.

Maybe not today. But you look into my eyes, you son of a bitch, 'cause I'm the one that kills you

Blind Mag was BAD ASS!!

Pavi, hands down.

Graverobber/Amber/Pavi/Luigi

and any and all combinations where they are singing together.

Definitely Graverobber followed by Blind Mag. Gorgeous costumes. And I'm really glad that Paris didn't completely screw up the movie.

Two characters stood above all in my book.
The first is Nathan Wallace/Surgeon Repo Man because of the wonderful acting displayed by the very emotional Anthony Stewart Head. Look at the character here folks, a loving father constantly battling with his past. In this war he has formed an alternate personality that revels in the torture and dismemberment of others. It's very ironic once you think about it though. I say this because Nathan tortures himself with the fact of what he thinks he did to his wife. In this self-destruction he has formed a butcher of his own that just can't stop killing. Upon execution of his task, the softer side (Nathan) shows back through in Anthony's face revealing remorse and displeasure in his job. A lot of the same flip-floppy personality is seen in both of the songs "Night Surgeon" and "Let the Monster Rise."
The second character is, of course, the GraveRobber! As many of us have already stated on this forum Terrance's character comes on the screen with a presence rarely seen. Not only is his vocal range STUNNING! (listen to the sequence with the song in the graveyard with Shiloh, and you'll know what I mean), but he acts as a perpetual narrator, speaking with the characters and audience in turn. Plus, I must say that I absolutely loved his outfit and the way he carried himself. His actions reminded me very much of a trickster and cunning thinker. This personality plays to his grave-robbing job very well.

Would you change who you are, if you could? Cause' it's quick! It's clean! It's pure! It could change your life, rest-assured. -Grave Robber

Blind Mag is my favorite. She is by far the most tragic of all the characters as her fate is brought about by the machinations of those around her and not as a result of anything on her part aside from the thirst for freedom. Second would be Graverobber because he seems like someone who at some point knew right and wrong and then came face to face with the pointlessness of morality in a world with GeneCo at the head of it. He seems resigned to the bleak lifeof crime he has carved out for himself, and ammused by the world and circumstance that brought him to it. He is the epitome of the phrase "sometimes you've gotta laugh to keep from crying." His pragmatically smirking observation of the world around him is one of the best things in the film. I also love Shilo, whose complete innocence at the start of the film resolves into the most resolute strength of any character in the film. Honestly I love all the characters, picking out three was hard let alone one, but if I've gotta pick one, it's Blind Mag. Nathan's tragic arc is awesome, Rotti's growing insanity at the ever larger looming time of his passing and jealousy of the love between Marni and Nathan that has festered all the years since her death makes him an awesome villain. Luigi and Pavi are great comic relief and Amber provides a viewpoint of complete ambivilance as she is perfectly aware of the horrible world around her but so monomaniacally driven by her own vanity that she couldn't care less. These are classic characters and I love them all.

Nathan. Pretty much everybody was great though. Their dynamics are wll thought-out.

Graverobber also gets a mention because his personality and humor remind me of the Crypt Keeper from Tales From the Crypt (God I miss that show).

Graverobber and Pavi. :]

Blind Mag and the Graverobber.

The prurient herself!

I definitely loved Graverobber and Pavi. I also really like Rotti, not sure why...

I loved Graverobber and Pavi also. Though Luigi was amazing for some laughs. I'm probably one of the only people who didn't think much of Mag, not that I didn't like her...she just wasn't a favourite. Her final song wasn't that amazing, I think that's what decided it for me. =/

Toss-up between Blind Mag and Nathan. Then I also love Luigi, but that might just be because I love Bill Mosely so much! :D OTIS DRIFTWOOD FOREVER!

I just looked through all the replies to this thread, and there is definitely not enough Luigi love.

Luigi's definitely my favorite character. Sure, I love the whole Largo family and think that it's hilarious when they're all together, but Luigi's #1 for me. Even better than Pavi. I love this terrible temper and when he starts stabbing the coffee boy, and all this different knives. XD

Nathan would be second for me, followed by a tie between Mag, Grave Robber, Shiloh, and Rotti. :-D
