Any one else find the proposal scene moving?

I just can't stop watching the proposal scene. It has got a really natural feel to it. The music, Rupert Friend's hair when he sweeps forward, Emily Blunt's nervous laugh. It's just superb. It just makes me have goosebumps and get tears in my eyes. Please tell me I'm not alone?

What I liked the most about this scene is how Albert sort of took control of the proposal. She instigated the conversation, but he was the one who mentioned marriage first =]

Too short, could have been better. Pride and Prejudice 2005, that was a good proposal scene!

Yes, I loved this scene as well. I thought the writers struck a nice balance: Albert could not propose to her himself because she was the Queen, but he also didn't want to be the chump in the case. So to strike a sort-of balance, they had Victoria call the meeting and start the conversation, and then in both cases he beat her to the punch, asking before she asked, if she wanted him to stay and marry her. So in a way he did ask her, even though officially she asked him. Well done!

I loved it, especially when she says that she wants him to stay with her and he says "and marry you?" and she laughs like thinking (oh, right, forgot that tiny detail). The whole movie was very moving and very romantic, not a lot of drama in that relationship, it's rare to see that even in movies lately. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about this movie just got me. I absolutely loved it, and to think I had passed on renting it 3 times already.

This was the best movie I've seen in a long time. Everything just came together so perfectly. :)

I love the proposal scene. It's a lot more romantic than the "Victoria and Albert" version which is a bit depressing. It's funny too 'cause in the end, it was Albert who 'proposed'.
