Jack Black Lite? Hell im going one step further, picture sock in all of jack blacks movie roles and tell me he wouldn't make EACH and EVERY movie funnier. There is no way around it, he IS a funny version of jack black. I hope to god filmakers realize this quick because jack black has been *beep* on movies for a while now. But thank god he didn't screw up saving silverman, one of the funniest movies out.

This. I closed my eyes, and immediately recognized that the only difference between them is that Tyler has restraint. He doesn't overact. That's it. He's like what JB could be.

That's an insult to Jack Black. I liked Sock at first, but later his character was so annoying (and kind of mean) I dreaded seeing him come on screen. He does overact and he's not funny. Neither is Jack Black a lot of the time, but he's a lot funnier than this guy.

I think it's his whole crazy-dude vibe. But I think he's funnier. JBlack just seems annoying.

Correct. If he replaced Jack Black in 'The Jackal' than his death scene would no longer be funny, since it would no longer be Jack Black being killed.

Just because Jack Black got popular, he's now the representative of funny fat guys? Most fat guys are funny anyway because they have to make up for their fatness in personality.

I'm surprised that there are people that don't see this. His delivery and enunciation are taken directly from Jack Black. Anyone who likes the actor who plays Sock and hates Jack Black is a moron. He's a clone, plain and simple.
