I find it interesting but a bit sad that the right wing still don't get it. Not surprised... On a poll of Americans a year after it was found that there were no WMDs and that the Bush Administration had lied in order to justify going into IRAQ; that 75% of Fox News viewers still believed that there were still WMDs. The Republican propaganda machine that is Fox News has been very successful indoctrinating and brainwashing the masses.

shareIf the Bush Administration didn't exactly "lie," what they clearly did was pretend to rely on completely unreliable intelligence - and then bombs away. I'll agree that when Hussein didn't allow U.N. inspectors full access, that needed to be addressed - militarily if necessary. But I do believe Bush and his cronies relished dropping all those bombs.

Why would they relish dropping all those bombs? This is the typical political rheoric that I am talking about. They did not pretend anything. They relied on bad intel. The bombs were dropped in such a way as to avoid as many civillian casualties as possible. In fact, more civillians have been killed by militant Muslims than by anything done by the coalition forces. If the bush aministration really relished, as you claim, they would not have taken such care to avoid the loss of life.
Do I agree with the war? Not really, but not for the reasons you might think. Do I think sadaam needed to be removed? Yes, I do. Do I think Iraq will eventually be right back where they were? yes.
Oh yes and meanwhile your Middle East invasions will *beep* up our continent Europe. I wonder how you would feel if Europe intervened in Mexico, Carribean or Canada every now and then and your U.S, of A. overwhelmed with tens of thousands of refugees daily. Meh, compared to your governments hypocrisy any other expansionist seems amateur.

Read "Rebuilding America's Defenses," the document created in 2000 by Dick Cheney, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz and others that lays out their plan for our country's future. They openly state that they desire to fight and win two wars in the middle east. Take 10 minutes and search the web for George Tenet's (former CIA director) comments on Cheney's persistence at the Pentagon in pushing for WMD evidence when they couldn't find any. Take your head out of the sand and wake the fvck up. All of you, stop this insane willful ignorance and game of blaming it on "liberals". If any of you can watch this 15 minute video from PBS and still say it wasn't a lie, you're beyond help.

Why do right wingers always play the America hater card when talking about left-wingers? I am neither, but I just have to scratch my head whenever I hear this. If left-wingers hated America so much why are they the ones trying to give everyone equal rights? Why are they the ones trying to fix poverty? Left-wingers to me seem to be genuinely concerned about their country. Both sides have their flaws, I just wish they wouldn't make up things to criticize each other about.
