Lousy title but great film I did not know existed

I came across this on Amazon Prime recently and was glad I decided to watch. Compelling story involving sci-fi principles that are novel yet easy enough to grasp, while also combining a fair amount of action, thrills, romance, as well as deeper theme about reality. The structure of the film, which requires the audience to piece together information just as the main character is doing so, is not exactly new but is done quite well here. Despite the highly unattractive title of the film, it's still a great watch.

Yeah, I really liked this movie! Apparently it isn't for everyone because I hear gripes here and there, but I love a good sci-fi movie that is different and time travel is one of my favorites, even though this isn't necessarily time travel. It's definitely one of my favorite movies starring Jake Gyllenhaal. He seems to be one of the actors that is really great about picking the right scripts and not just trying to grab for more money. I really appreciate that about him as a lead!

I agree - I was also thinking about how Jake Gyllenhaal is one of those actors who seems to pick good roles on a consistent basis. Leonardo DiCaprio is another.

I definitely agree about DiCaprio, he's been one of my favorite actors to watch because of the scripts that he picks. I also love Nicolas Cage, but he definitely seems to be in it for the money, rather than a good role, which he's capable of. I'm not saying he's the same caliber of Jake and Leo, but he's shown that he's capable, but probably just made too many wrong decisions with scripts.

I've said in the past that Leonardo DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors and that's definitely because of his script choices, rather than his acting capability. He just picks great scripts that fit his acting capabilities and that makes me a big fan of his movies.

There are some great actors out there that, I think, are scared that the next role isn't going to come because "Hollywood" could desugared them at any moment and want to make as much money as possible before they're thrown into the rubbish pile.

EDIT: I guess my point is that more actors should me more selective on the roles that they choose. I think there are many actors that could've been legends in my eyes might've thrown it away because of a decent looking paycheck.

I agree the movie title doesn't match one bit and is going to turn off almost the entire female audience!
