Why so dark??
There have been scenes in the first three episodes, especially ep 3, where it’s so dark you can barely tell what’s going on. What’s the point of a big battle scene if you can’t see what’s happening.

shareApparently it's because your TV is not up to par, as some will tell you.
shareI agree that it was too dark and hard to see the action. It could be that they wanted the mood to be dark and ominous. My theory is that they saved a lot of money on CGI since less details would be required in the darkness.
shareBuy Philips Hue and dim your lights before watching.
shareI guess I must be in the minority, because I thought the dark cinematography added to the suspension. Then again, my TV doesn't have darkness issues.
shareNot really had it been mostly white i would understand it but it just being dark was done due to budget I bet plus it allows them to control what you see creating suspense.
shareI had to play around with the settings and got a better resolution but most of the battle scenes were dark.
