Will Hodor appear as a wight?

Realistically, he's the only regular human character who could appear as a wight and I can't believe in a show featuring the undead, they won't use the cliche of having an undead that once used to be a character that other main characters knew and loved.

Good point.
Maybe the Night King will not appear in the Godswood to meet Bran… instead, he sends Hodor.

At first I thought that would be kind of wasted in the "that other main characters knew and loved" sense since Bran is emotionless these days. BUT Theon is there to protect Bran. Maybe seeing Hodor will make him hesitate for a crucial second.

Have him shamble up to Bran and Theon, big chunks of his shoulders, torso, and face missing, one blue eye. Maybe we could see a little emotion from Bran. Telling his old friend he's so sorry, while Hodor glares at him like You did this to me! and advances toward him ready to rip his head off. Hopefully Theon won't jump overboard this time.
