Kit Harington's horrible movie career

I've noticed all the movie roles he's gotten since he's been in GOT have all been horrible, he was in some shitty Silent Hill sequel, he was in some shitty western with Dakota Fanning, that movie Pompeii.

I dunno if he just sucks at picking good roles or he just sucks when he's not Jon Snow.

He's like this huge mega star on GOT, but he just can't get a good movie career going. Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner seem to be the only ones from the show getting big movie roles, well not so much Maisie in terms of big movies but shes been in some good indy movies. But Kit, the leading man from GOT can't seem to ever get a good movie role.

Last I heard, he was trying not to be typecast into period/fantasy dramas. Richard Madden had the same issue, but he finally got a police show in the UK. It's harder for Kit because he's been in it 8 years, most of the main cast can pick maybe 1 movie to do between seasons and he just hasn't hit on anything yet.

The older actors have the opposite experience. A lot of them were already legends before Game of Thrones, but they seem to be popping up everywhere after they left the show.

The only decent thing he has done other than GoT is those booze commercials where he is the filthy rich lord of some Italian village, slumming it at a festival.
