Worst music ever.

I'm just sayin'.....

It was the one thing that bothered me. Raw, powerful movie with a feel-good, rom-com soundtrack?

mmm that first song really ruined the tone of the movie for me. There WERE some out-of-place songs.

Sometimes it's the out-of-place music that really places the tone of a film (I'm reminded of True Romance).

Agreed! I almost turned it off because of the music.

Aw, I liked the music. Especially the last song before/during the credits.

Not the worst, but the creepiest. There are other films with more disturbing parts and more devastating themes, but this one is just unrelentingly revolting. Scat porn is the closest comparison I can think of.

The last song to me was just perfect.

But violence is bad. It said so on TV.
Not violence.. Vio-lins! Violins are bad.

does anyone know what song is when she's closing up the binds in her apartment?
I think it was like at half time or something

reply

I came here to ask the same question...

Also, aside from the opening song (which was awful), I loved pretty much all of the music in this film. Maybe not the most fitting but in a way that made it fit even more for me.

reply

I think there could of been some scenes deleted out of the movie because they did nothing for it, but other than that it was a really good movie!

I agree with you, bobcows. The lead character was acting like a stalker and yet this sappy sentimental indie rock instrumental is churning away to let us know we're supposed to see this all as romantic and sweet behavior. I can watch a movie about a guy who doesn't know how to pursue women without stalking them and forcing his way into their apartments as long as the soundtrack isn't trying to bully me into excusing that behavior.

reply

Yeah the music was really unfortunate and totally unnecessary. Took away from it all.
