This movie wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it
the average rating should at least be a 5.1 (although I gave it an 8/10)

I gave it an 8.2/10 and think it's average rating should be anywhere from a 5.0-5.6, because I know it's an average film, I just happenned to love it. Well, it SHOULD be considered an average film, not a "1/10 rating" worthy film...

I'm as big a slasher movie fan as anyone, but I gave this a 2 out of 10 because that's what I felt it deserved. It just wasn't very good. At all.
Notice you didn't use the words terrible, horrible, crappy, awful, dreadful, etc etc in any way, yet you still gave it a 2 out of 10?!
I mean, come on. If I gave every movie a 2 out of 10 just because I didn't think it was "very good", I wouldn't have gave any movie above a 7.

It shouldn't be a 2 in anybody's book just because they didn't think it was very good. You can do whatever you want with your rating and opinions for this movie, it's not like I can make you say otherwise. I'm still pointing out that I think you're terribly wrong for the choice, and it's not like that's a crime now, is it?

The problem is that this movie was marketed as a horror flick when in fact it is a formulaic crime thriller. Besides is not suspenseful, is not scary, is not even funny.
The cinematography is nice, perhaps "too" nice. I think horror movies should have a rougher look which IMO fits the genre better.
In short: A man who kills their victims with a cutter could be scary 50 years ago, but today it looks like a joke.
Next time we'll see a somebody using a fork or a pencil! c'mon!
i liked it ..... but then again i liked halloween resurrection and crossroads (the britney movie)

It was extremely cliche and lacked anything memorable but it certainly doesn't deserve a paltry 3.6.4.5 at the least.

if you're rating a horror movie based on the intelligent decisions of the characters/victims then no horror movie would be rated about a 2/10. That's a silly way to rate it - to me this movie is a 5/10 period- wasnt great but wasnt godawful either- it was okay- a decent pg-13 popcorn flick - was it filled with stupidity? of course- but was it at least entertaining as a corny pg13 slasher film? yes

shareI agree, although id use a harsher term than stupid. The people who like this movie are the kind of people I would never be friends with in real life. If I find out one of my friends liked this movie, we couldnt be friends again.
shareI feel the same way as you. Although no one I'm friends with would ever like this "film," I wouldn't actually drop a friend just for liking it...but to be honest with you, the thought would cross my mind and I'd be thinking about it from time to time.

I gave it a six. There is not a movie in the world that should be graded 1/10 IMO. 1/10 is like the movie doesn't even exist.
