sharehonestly i don't think that illegal people are all bad and some of them do have really harsh lives that americans fail to see. how can we blame someone for trying to build a better life for themselves and/or family. i did a report recently for my world politics class in college and i found that about 60% of the people that we believe are "illegal" have been trafficked to america against their will. the drop houses we hear about are NOT houses where illegals go to hang out the term of a "drop house" in media is really code for human trafficking. trust me i know what i am talking about. i suggest that people not be so close minded just because something seems to be so obvious it doesn't mean that it really is. i just thought that people like the OP should know. and sympathy is not a bad thing no matter who it's for.

There is no such thing as an illegal person. These people are coming to America as people have done for hundreds of years, to get jobs and have a better life. Immigration laws are nutty as a fruitcake and ought to be changed. There can be regulation without oppression. The idea of having a huge Berlin-type Wall at the border is not only impractical, it's shameful.

I can't help but notice you only seem to have a problem with "so called neighbors from the South ,and Below." It always seems the anti-immigrants have no problems with the Canadians crossing from the north, or the rest of the world flying in across the oceans. The emphasis is always on the Mexicans and Latinos. It makes the REAL problem you have with immigration clear.
I bet if the countries south of the USA were all as white as most Canadians, there would be no problem. If we shared a southern border with Sweden, and nothing but blue-eyed blonds were crossing over, we wouldn't hear a peep from the likes of you.

It doesn't require 'all' illegals to trash the place now does it? I have lived and worked with illegal immigrants for many years and have some in my blood family. They are not necessarily bad people at all, in fact some of them are great people, just like people who are here legally. But they are all illegaL.
