Has this show made anyone want to visit Wales?

To be honest, even though obviously a lot of this is set in wales it never crossed my mind. I wouldn't go as a result of this and the times I have been i didn't find it much different to england.

I absolutely adore this show, but - having grown up in the beachside eastern suburbs of Sydney - when Gavin's Dad looks out at the Welsh coastline and says something to the effect of, "Wouldn't you love to wake up to that every morning?", my immediate thought was, "What, a rocky shoreline that looks bloody cold and depressing? No thanks."

Hello yes I went on the Gavin and Stacey tour advertised on "Brit tours" Barry and Barry Island are lovely places to visit. There are plenty of things to do. When you go on the tour your travel around Barry visiting locations used in the show including the Portkerry Caravan Park and the church were baby Neil was christened I even got to visit Gwens house.
I highly recommend the tour

Very cool Lisa, thanks for the info. I should put this on my bucket list, along with The Sound of Music bus tour in Austria. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
