TBbt was the death of the good american sitcom. Anything before was better.

It was good until Amy and Bernadette became prominent characters. The more Amy and Bernadette there was, the worse it got.

I agree it was terrible and the most overrated sitcom in history. But probably not the worst. I mean the jokes were funny for 5 year olds, but even they would have gotten bored with the same dumb jokes and same pathetic characters every episode.
