Weird edit on season 7 ep7

I just realized something weird on the reruns we get here in Spain every afternoon. On episode 7 from season 7, the episode where Sheldon goes to Professor Proton's house to apologize to him for being a pest, they eliminated the laugh track from Professor Proton's line "look Sheldon in a few hours I have to get up, pee and wander around the house." I remember when I watched the episode for the first time, of course the audience laughs at that line. Now there's this awkward silence as Sheldon pulls this wtf face, lol, because when the audio track comes back, as Sheldon replies, you can faintly hear the audience laugh as it dies away. Does anyoke know why they censored the laughs on that line?! Was it considered offensive towards elderly people or something? Weird, I personally don't find the line offensive at all, although just a little sad as it describes a lot of elderly people's daily life.
