I DON'T GET HOW PEOPLE STILL HAVEN'T MENTIONED THIS!!!

How exactly did the girl with red hair, END UP being Undead AND stuck in the same strip sex position in that basement at the ending, JUST LIKE the 1st girl.

I don't get how people watch this movie, and not mention a thing about that really dumb plot hole.

How exactly did she even become undead? she wasn't bitten by the other dead girl, so IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!, She was stabbed.

Are they actually implying that if you die in that area, you become undead?

SOMEONE PLEASE!

Explain to me how the red hair girl became a zombie, NOT ONLY THAT!, who stripped her like that??

realy easy:

Lets say for the sake of arguement u become undead by a bite, its because of the saliva.
That one dude got hes lip bitten off by the undead girl and thus he was infected, so all he had to do was bite the stabbed girl and she would be infected too.

or maybe the guy who loved the stabbed girl put some of the saliva of the bitten dude on the blade and punctered her, infecting her as a result, so he wouldnt lose her forever.

or maybe its some of the saliva mixed with the blood on the ground that got on her wound infecting her.

take your pick :)

Obviously as people have said she was bitten (why would you think she got stabbed) and who the hell do you think stripped her like that??

Did you not see him walking back towards the asylum at the end of the film looking happier than he ever has before??!!

She didn't get bitten, she got turned by JT. JT got bitten and infected. Rickie knew his girl was dying, and the only way to "save her" was to have JT bite her and turn her. That's why they keep looking at each other just before the scene changes, like Rickie can't decide if he wants her to live bad enough to turn her. Then, once he had her changed and tied up, he realized what JT had seen in the original flavor DeadGirl (no pun intended) and he was happy for the first time.

THIS! ^

Only that I believe the reason he let JT bite her was because he realised that she would never love him no matter what. In that scene you can hear her say "*beep* you and your love!". So yeah..

Noup, you can hear her say *beep* grow up!"

I hate everything about this comment because this is probably the most valid thing anyone has said regarding this movie. Because people think like this, not just in the movies. People root for the JT's and support their "helping" Ricky to "find his strength" and justify rape by saying she deserved it for being a "preppy little beeotch" or dressing like a slut.

If Ricky had just accepted his role as rapist from the beginning, everyone would be happy. And of course the REAL victims in all this are JT and Wheeler.

I'm going to go plot the dismantling of the patriarchy now and i hate you all.

(why would you think she got stabbed)
I just finished this movie, she told him that she was stabbed.

THANK YOU!!!!! I don't get why so many people don't think she was stabbed when she blatantly tells Rickie that JT stabbed her and JT tells Rickie he wax just trying to help.

As a side note, when JT is talking after his top lip is bitten off I can't help but laugh uncontrollably at how goofy he looks and sounds.

You actually have to watch the ending with the volume way up to understand what happens.

When JoAnn walks towards rickie and falls she says "He stabbed me" We then see J.T with the bloody machete lying next to him and Rickie asks why did you do this? J.T responds by saying he needs help.

Rickie then starts telling JoAnn he loves her and during this we hear in the background J.T say "I can still bite her before it's too late."

After Rickie confesses his love, JoAnn responds by saying *beep* grow up." She then begs Rickie to take her home.

We can then assume that Rickie was heartbroken by his love telling him to grow up and so he realizes the only way he can be with her is to have J.T bite her and then tie her up just like the original deadgirl.

Ending explained.

This isn't my original thread, but thanks a ton for being the only one who responded nicely and explained it haha I too was confused for a sec about who bit her.

csca15 is spot-on. Rewatch the ending with the subtitles if needed.

Although I do think it's a fault of any movie if the plot/dialoague cannot be understood without subtitles.

When in doubt, turn on the sub-titles.

Why is Supernatural getting a 7th season consisting of 149 episodes when a far more clever Veronica Mars only had 40 episodes in 3 seasons? Well, I'm guessing it was probably too witty and not shallow enough for WB's intended audience.

Whoa. Veronica Mars was cancelled because the changes the network mandated ended up taking away from the show. And I'm a fan of both Supernatural and Veronica Mars.

Ridiculous reaction. The OP's question was perfectly valid.

Jesus Christ, guys. Watch the movie again. She was stabbed by JT. When she was lying in Rickie's arms there's a shot of JT and he says that he can "Feel it" inside him (referring to whatever supernatural thing goes on when the dead chick bites you) and he also says that he can bite her for Rickie. It's a clear indicator that because this girl turned her back on Rickie so cruelly right when he was saving her (by telling him to "Grow up") that he just snapped, let JT bite her and then tied her up just as the first girl was.

Seriously, this was really clear. Watch it with the subtitles if you have doubts.

Hope to have helped.

PS: *beep* stupid movie, if you ask me.

It was a stupid movie, I agree. However, she didn't so much turn her back on Rickie as she finally showed disgust at what he was clearly considering. He was DEBATING whether to save her and still trying to force her to evince feelings for him that she never had. Just like in the stairwell when she is frantically trying to get out he keeps putting his hands on her to move her and then screamed in her face in anger for never hearing him. Then he kept telling her he was going to save her and angling to kiss her as she was clearly terrified and in no way feeling like making out with this deranged guy who had showed up with a machete to her kidnapping and then he spent ten minutes standing around while being partially persuaded by his friend to let her be killed.

Every step of the way in the film she was brutally honest and let him know that she was not interested in him. That it wasn't going to happen. That the fantasy he had of her wasn't reality. He simply didn't want to hear it. Even at the end. Her wishes meant nothing because she always Deadgirl to him. She was the screen he projected his fantasy onto.

She seemed cruel because she was honest.
