How many times did you laugh?

Me? I had a smirk once... To be honest this doesn't deserve the Comedy tag. Let's just have the Crime and Mystery!

The movie was interesting at first, but it somehow became a mess. I dunno if that was intentional. And yeah, I didn't laugh at all.. or maybe a smirk during Brad and George's scene.

reply

Yeah I agree... Brad was the one who came close to making me laugh, and George wasn't far behind!

reply

Many, many times throughout. I couldn't contain myself during the last scene with JK Simmons. I think if you can tune into the absurdity of the piece then it makes the entire film all the more hilarious.

I think there's been a rape up there!

reply

Agreed! I enjoyed it very much :)

reply

Not once. It should have been called Burn After Watching.

reply

... or even "Burn Before Watching" - maybe smiled few times, but even then - because it was expected.

However, bottom line - it was a mildly entertaining way to spend an evening in front of the TV w/husband.

reply

I've been saying the same thing for years. I came on here to make that comment, only to find that I wasn't the only one who was thinking the exact same thing!
BURN AFTER WATCHING
It would have been more entertaining that way!

reply

a bunch of times.

Mostly when Brad Pitt was getting hurt. That and Clooney being paranoid.. And his Dildo chair.

Did you ever notice that people who believe in creationism look really un-evolved? - Bill Hicks

reply

Laugh, 49 times (7 x 7). Smile, 343 times (7 x 7 x 7). I really enjoyed this film, and I have watched it two more times on TV!

reply

Many times. The movie works for me.

reply

Are you kidding? I laughed just about every time JK Simmons was on the screen. He was hysterical! Brad Pitt was hilarious too he had so much energy and he was always talking fast! When he got punched I LOL'd. Also just everyone being baffled by them taking the CD to the Russian embacy had me cracking up. Classic Coens Bros!

reply

I didnt find anything funny but the JK Simmons and David Rasche scenes were hilarious.

Due to current economic conditions, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

reply

Yeah, i'd call a lot of this movie black humour. That's definitely not for everyone, but personally i found this movie hysterical.

Pitt's "SCHWINN" joke cracked me up, as did the absolute-out-leftfield murder of him.

The ending is possibly my favourite ending to any movie ever. JK SIMMONS rocked this movie hardcore.

"Gallifrey Stands!"

reply

I also found the film hysterical. I actually like it more with each repeat viewing. I guess I have seen it five times by now.

reply

definitely this. i like it more with each viewing

reply

I can't tell you how many times but, the shot of the Russian embassy which was a typical grey concrete soviet building in the USA of all places alone made me laugh so you get the idea.

reply

yeah the ending was my favorite part when the cia boss asked what did we learn from this and answered "Nothing" hahahaa

reply

And then he said "I guess we learn not to do it again. *beep* if I knew what we did." This killed me lol.

reply

I laughed more than I care to admit. The more I watch it, the more I laugh.
