Edema at Sea????

Bear gives himself an edema at sea to see if he can stay hydrated??? Seriously?? While there are mucus membranes there to absorb, I cant see that really working. Of course, this is reality tv so who knows.

Yeah, I doubt an edema would work. He should try an enema next time and see how that plays out.

Les Troud, in the episode where he’s on an island, mentioned how some people used an enema to stay alive. If I recall, the idea is that the water is too dirty to go down your throat, but your rectum would absorb it
