Cast the movie

So the live action American adaptation has a director. Personally, I would've preferred a live action series on Netflix or HBO but I'll take what I can get. With that being said let's cast this thing...

Light - Freddie Highmore
L - Dane DeHaan
Soichiro Yagami - Gary Oldman
Misa Amane - Amanda Seyfried or Juno Temple
Ryuk - Michael C. Hall/Michael Shannon/Willem Dafoe (someone creepy)

Light and L were tough to narrow down. There's not that many young actors who could pull it off, being that they're high school age when the show starts. I think these two could actually be interchangeable.

I'm not casting Near or Mello because they're not in this movie lol. The rest of the task force can be fleshed out with good character actors.
