Although the series ending was satisfactory, I sort of wish they'd do another episode, as a movie, perhaps.
I'd like to see Robbie and Laura return to Oxford and settle in. It would be nice to see James find a partner. They could have some really heinous crime to investigate that requires Lewis's experience to solve.

shareI suppose it has been too long now. Looking at Kevin Whately's filmography on Wiki, it appears he hasn't really done anything since 2018. Oops. I take that back. IMDb shows he had a role in a Midsomer Murders episode in 2021. Lawrence Fox is still working, as is Clare Holman. I really enjoyed the addition of Angela Griffin to the cast. Too bad the show ended so soon afterwards.
