Ms. Grunion bears an uncanny resemblance to Mrs. Prysselius from Pippi Longstocking
I'm talking about the animated Pippi Longstocking movie from 1997.
Both characters look and act so similar, it almost feels like it's not a coincidence. Both are strict, no nonsense heavyset women who wear purple. And they're social workers who highly disagree with the status of our main characters.
Grunion doesn't like that Sherman's father is literally a dog and seeks to take Sherman away, and Mrs. Prysselius doesn't like that Pippi lives alone with no parents and seeks to send her to a foster home, lol.
