Refuse to watch it after killing of dog

I decided to watch this film but switched it off and deleted it about twenty minutes after the early scene where yeoh cuts the throat of a dog, when there clearly doesnt appear to be any need to. They're not starving, there are other people around.

I know they east dogs in Asia but dogs are man's best friend and anyone who slices open the jugular of their pet dog in order to eat them loses any possibility of me liking or relating to the character after that point.

There's no one to root for at all in this film and for me killing your dog or horse is a betrayal of trust. Avoid at all costs is my advice.

I'm glad i didn't keep watching it because lots of people on this board have criticised the film's cruelty and lack of resolution.

Yes, slicing a human's throat is fine, but God help us if we show a fictional portrayal of a dog getting its throat slit.

Go *beep* yourself, you stupid *beep* up subhuman.
