especially near the end there are some weird looking scenes,and the fact that this all started because they want the same woman is rather confusing.

"Homoerotic" means that it's there but it's not obvious. MILO coming on to WYKE was very obvious. However, it was all an act. MILO knew WYKE was gay (maybe the wife told him; maybe he realize it on his own), and used that to humiliate him.

It is more than just homoerotic.. It's powerplay which is something related to bdsm, this film was a brilliant emotional mindgame with a kinky edge. I LOVED it!
