Casting for a 1990s Avengers movie?

I love Slater for Hawkeye - perfect casing there. Gary Oldman is great too.

Tom Cruise as Iron Man (circa 1995) would have been great.

Paul Walker for Hawkeye - tall,athletic and funny .

Bridgette Wilson for Carol Danvers

Pepper Potts should be Angelica Bridges or Angie Everhart

Milla Jovovich for Black Widow

Almost there. I don’t think Pitt has enough energy to pull off Stark though. George Clooney would be better.

Then Pitt could possibly be an alternative to Kilmer as Captain America, then he can play off well to Clooney’s provocations.

It would be expensive, and thats why most of the MCU was actors with very short movie resumes, or simply trying to get some back like RDJ. I think that had a lot to do with the huge success of the MCU, because we could allow ourselves to see these actors as these characters alone, for the most part. Its hard not to see Tom Cruise as Tom Cruise at this point or even back then. Getting big names did start changing a little with the later MCU movies, after they really took off. This list is all A listers, so not really comparable to the cast of the MCU at the beginning.

Paxton as Hulk would've been great.
