This is a pretty interesting story and adaption. Actually I naver read this novel before and don't know it's Jane Austen's work. I am familiar with S&S, P&P,EMMA,Mansfield Park, heard a bit of Persuasion before, but know nothing about Northanger Abbey before this adaption.
Ths adaption really intrigues my interest to read it. CM is very cute, and I think she is the most active and anergetic girl among all the Austen female characters, so is HT. I don't know what HT is like in the book, but I think he is the one who laughs and smiles most within all the male characters of all the adaptions.
What do u think?
PS. and yes, ITV Mansfield park is a disaster!
I'm about 15-20 minutes in the movie and the number of reenactments from the book Catherine is reading is starting to annoy me. So far, I'm finding Catherine's character unattractive, although I loved her in the book. I don't know, but I hope the rest of the movie is good. JJ Feild is lovely, as always.
