The advancements in theoretical physics over the last couple of years have made this movie practically unwatchable. I mean, for its time the physics was already questionable but nowadays if you've been paying any attention at all, interstellar is laughable schlock at best

True, but I hardly ever attend popular movies to find out about
the latest advancements in theoretical physics either. ;-)
