Sagittarius A* Supermassive Milky-Way Galaxy Central Black Hole...


...will be viewed by the James Webb Space Telescope (essentially Hubble 2.0) sometime after its launch in late 2018, going into 2019. I can't wait to see pictures of the light surrounding it, and wonder how much different it will appear compared to Nolan's Interstellar Black Hole.

Thank you for the heads up. I'm sure many of us would strongly appreciate if you could please post an update on this when you see it, so we can be reminded. I will most likely forget but would love to see it also.

You bet, it has been something I've been anticipating for quite a few years now.

In the meantime I use Space Engine as an appetizer, probably the coolest program you can ever install for your PC. :)
