ShogunofYonkers PREFERS THE 82 VERSION AS WELL...EXCEPT AFTER HE HAS HAD A COUPLE TECATES...TECATI?...🤔...ANYWAY HE DRINKS TECATE AND THEN HE PREFERS THE SWEATY MAN RIPPLES OF THE REMAKE.🙂

Yup. Not even close. The original is poetry. It's an underrated classic of the fantasy genre and is far deeper than it seems at a first glance. This film is a fun action movie, but that's about it. It goes from set piece to set piece.
