Way better than 1982 film, in every respect, IMO

The 1982 original is much better movie, and more cinematic in most respects.

Although Jason Momoa is more in line of the Conan character than Arnold and this new one is a good popcorn fantasy flick, the newer version is definitely NOT a better movie...

Agree. This version is WAY better in every way than Arnie's version. Bad acting, bad scenery, misplaced humour, miscast actors. Arnie's version was a total disaster. Jason Momoa nailed Conan. I'd like to see him in another Conan film, hopefully with a better storyline. There are many stories to choose from the original Howard tales........ why not just pick one or a few and go with them!?

I watched them back to back and really enjoyed the latest version. Surprised it rated so low.

definitely better but the thing that bothered me was when after tamara and conan made out she left putting herself in danger knowing that they were after her leading me to think she was disappointed with the 5x5 she discovered while intimate with conan (5in x 5mins)
