Name One Movie That Has a #5 Girl Get a Guy Whos a #10?
Just asking. I think in Hollywood that would be considered Science Fiction. SWAMP THING does not count.

shareSomeone already mentioned it but The Mirror Cracked (Streisand/Jeff Bridges)
Personally, I think any movie where Sarah Jessica Parker gets the guy fits and answers your question.
It's trickier if the question is 'Name a movie in which the woman acknowledges she's a 5 and gets a man who's a 10?' That almost happened in Mirror Cracked, but even then we're led to believe that the Streisand character is not as physically unattractive as she believes - it has more to do with her movie mother (Lauren Bacall) constantly, and unflatteringly, comparing her to 'beautiful' daughter Mimi Rogers.
Contemporary:
This Means War
The Last King of Scotland
The Dark Knight Rises (Anne Hathaway & Christian Bale)
Little Darlings
Absence of Malice
Thelma and Louise
Classics:
Summertime
La Strada(?)
Mr. Skeffington
Essex and Elizabeth
Jezebel
(Lot of Joan Crawford movies)
East of Eden
Somebody Up There Likes Me
Note: While some of these movies contain attractive females, I still consider them less attractive than their romantic leads, so include them here.
"The Dark Knight Rises (Anne Hathaway & Christian Bale)"
Well that's obviously just opinion. I think if we're to look for a real example it has to be pretty obvious that the woman is much less attractive than the man and this is a bad example. I think they are pretty on par looks wise, if Anne and Christian were real people and you just met them at some event do you actually think you'd walk away saying "wow, Anne is out of her league,"??? we only think of Christian as widely attractive because we know he's a great actor.
10 Things I Hate About You
The Loved Ones
...a little fantastic, and fleeting, and out of reach.
Weird Science, but that doesn't technically count since they made her in their bedroom with bras on their heads.
shareThe Dark Knight...Maggie Gyllenhaal *shudders*

Love Story - Ali McGraw was nice-looking but not enough that would make Ryan O'Neal (in his "10" heyday) give up on his rich life.
Fatal Atraction - Michael Douglas was in his "10" heyday and Glenn Close was never more than a "6".
