Maybe I should just find all shows that were cancelled after one or two seasons. Those are the ones I like. Here is a list of quality programming:

You should check out Journeyman. It was somewhat similar to Quantum Leap.
Prime Suspect was good. Felt like a decent replacement for my Law & Order fix.
And of course, Space: Above and Beyond.

Just finished watching all of Jericho on Hulu and can't believe it was cancelled. The first season was superb. Compare Jericho with Revolution -- Revolution became too violent, too "big" .. Jericho had the right idea with the small town perspective. And while I wish it had not been cancelled, I did not want to see major civil war, just like I don't look forward to even more violence on Revolution, when violence replaces character development, survival strategies (food, clothing etc).
Stargate Universe has the same 'boring' start but it gets better and better with each episode. Sadly it got cancelled also.
