Which revenge movies do you like more?

Do you like them where the person with the family is actually a trained killer (retired fbi agent or special forces guy) or do you like the ones where its just an average guy not knowing what hes doing learning as he goes?

I personally like the trained ones because it looks just even more badass when they know what they are doing

Average person, trained professionals are always to Hollywood with the vigilante breaking necks with one move and knowing every martial arts move possible.

I love !

I like the idea more that an average joe goes through the motions just to get back at the scum. But there have been some really great movies made about the other type of person, i don't think i can pick a favourite i just like the idea of someone getting vegeance for a good reason.

i prefer to see the average person's revenge, cuz he will actually learn something and improve. while the trained is more bad-ass. the average is more entertaining

I can't believe nobody here has mentioned one of my all time favourite 'vigilante against the wrongs of society'... Falling Down (1993) starring Michael Douglas, it takes a different approach in contrast to other revenge themed films listed here, but it's a timeless classic in my opinion.
