Also, Soloway is a woman who can’t make up her mind. She isn’t a man and changing her name on her license doesn’t change that or erase her gender. It merely causes yet more confusion in the world like most of the woke messaging these days.

But I agree about Bennett being more qualified than Soloway. Look, I don’t care if a kangaroo directs this damn thing. I’m a big Sonja fan and just want it done right, including the casting, which they still haven’t gotten right.

My point is it’s odd that studios have been pushing affirmative action past few years to assign women to direct female-led projects and directors of related races to direct films about specific racial characters but then hire a trans to do this. If I were an (actual) female director — and not just “identifying” as one — I’d be severely pissed, just like the female athletes fighting to prevent trans women from competing against them.
