This is another version of "whitewashing" and "blackwashing."

Shortwashing : a Hollywood move to cast a short actor to represent an established tall character.

It's the opposite of casting Hugh Jackman to play Wolverine.

Lol. Word on the street is that he is going to play Wilt Chamberlain in an upcoming biopic. Normally that would be a double no-no. Unless you have as high of thetan levels as Tom Cruise does.

An A Lister picked it and ran with it. Entirely possible no one else could have made this film happen.

So, would you have liked there to be no movie, and just stick with the books?

I'd never heard of the books. ONLY the movie. soo... that's all I cared about

Oh believe me, so do we all. What's crazy is that there are other movie boards with all the bells and whistles embedded images all that good stuff. They look a million times better than this site, but for some reason there's hardly any traffic on them. Then you got this plain old blah looking site with no features with lots of people. From day one we wanted images and stuff on here but nope, never going to happen.

Who says I don't like him. I happen to be partial to crazy dwarfs, so I love the guy. I just can't take him seriously in an action movie role, I guess. I'd love to see him in a light saber battle with Yoda. I'd be on board with that, for sure!

But seeing as he's one of, if not the highest grossing action star of all time, which I think he is now, millions of other people can and do take him seriously. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
