Anyone here LIKE Deck the Halls?

Anyone?

I haven't seen it yet, but I will waste $5.99 renting it mostly because of Matthew Broderick.

Also, I work at a youth centre and a kid that goes there is in it. So I'm hoping to spot him.

Other than that, any Broderick fans have any good reviews of this movie?

First 1/2 hr started off with great promise but it really fizzled out the last 1/2 hr. Actually, last 15 minutes were unbearable. They had to make this a family film so its understandable.

Haha. I actually love Jingle All the Way but to each his own. I don't know if I really "liked" Deck the Halls but I definately enjoy watching it. It's so cheezy and corny and badly acted that you can't help but laugh at how bad it is. It's fun to watch with people who haven't seen it before. The last 15 minutes actually give you that feeling of embarassment.

haha i know exactly what you mean....but yeah this movie wasn't to great it really is bad acting.

I actually liked it, I mean c'mon we all know when we picked this up that it's no Shindler's List. I think it's cute and serves it's purpose but for $5.99 is kinda steep to view a movie either way.

It was Okay. I thought it was kind of boring. Well, to me anyways. I laughed a few times haha

I saw it for the first time today and I will say: no. It is a crap movie.
I actually laughed really hard at one part (the 'who's your daddy?!' scene) but for a comedy I expect to laugh more than once.
The rest was just pretty boring

I found it somewhat predictable, but entertaining.

My favorite laugh-out-loud moment was when Broderick's kid was on the telephone pole, and DeVito says, "Isn't that your kid?" Broderick, total deadpan: "We're having him tested."

Only big laugh of the movie!

I love Matthew Broderick but even I had a hard time sitting through this sophmoric mess of a movie.

$5.99 or £3.71 just to rent this?

I paid £3.00 or $4.84 to own a brand new copy of the dvd and 99 p, $1.60
for a second hand copy of the one I lost.

Just seems a little excessive.

I'm a Broderick fan, and I enjoyed it.

Both DTH and BOTB were shown here in England and both were OK.
Never seen them before but I gave this 4 out of 10 and Bulbs 4 out of 10.

No, in fact it's not only one of the worst Christmas movies I've ever seen, but one of the worst period.
