It seems likely he would have, though no doubt he'd get bored of Anne and take other lovers on the side. She'd end up similar to Catherine had pre-divorce. Probably worse due to her lack of social standing. Anne would be left as very little more than a prop

True. She was his equal and that didn't work for him. He loved novelty but that wasn't always good for him.
