Oscar for Molly!

I've always thought she'd be capable of great things in a drama, and now here it is. Let's hope it's as good or better as "The Good Girl," and that Molly gets the amount of attention that Jennifer Anniston deserved for her Mike White film. Does anyone else think Molly could become a very accomplished dramatic actress somewhere down the line?

reply

YES! I totally agree. Fantastic acting in a fantastic part in a fantastic movie. I haven't seen anything so good in years.

This was a wonderful performance.

It absolutely deserves awards.

It's not too often we get to see a complex character played so beautifully.

She was absolutely fantastic...the nuances of the character, the glances, the mannerisms.
NOTHING she did in this film reminded me of any of the crap she did on SNL, even her moments of "lunacy" in Year Of The Dog were absolutely modulated in a whole different way from her antics on the comedy sketch show.

She is a revelation here, and I wouldn't be shocked if she got some award recognition eventually.
The problem will be making this film more visible...if the box office continues being as tepid as it's been so far (unfortunately), she might be completely forgotten and lost in the shuffle.

I'll be keeping track of this for you Glisy, no worries. Because while I personally don't care how much any movie earns, I have no choice but to hold you to the same standard you have set elsewhere. It all comes around.

And you better hope she receives some award recognition, the only thing you believe a performances worth should be based on
It all comes around
