Cancelled - why, why, why??!!

I really cannot believe this show was cancelled, especially when things were really starting to move along.

As always, I thought Matt Dallas (Kyle) was at his best in scenes with Jaimie Alexander (Jessi) and in season 3 Matt finally seemed to develop as an actor. My favourite episode was episode 8 of season 3, The Tell-Tale Heart. The scenes when Kyle was helping Jessi to remember what happened that night was truly amazing; you could just see the connection between them and it really seemed as though they were meant to be. When he was holding her in the tub after they discovered what happened to Sarah, it was so tender and played just right, with no words to spoil it.

I would love to see this show continue. Please ABC - make another season (or more!).

They cancelled this for that Terrible BS show, the life of the American Teen?
thats insanity. That show is the worst on TV and Kyle XY was decent and at times very good. ABC family SUCKS!

Thats really weird, the other show stands no where when compared to Kyle XY!!! Please re-start with the next season of Kyle XY.

I am boycotting ABC Family because of their decision to cancel Kyle XY. The network is incapable of making good decisions regarding it's progamming.

Kyle XY had pretty bad ratings in the third season - which is why they eventually cancelled the show. Almost every other abc family-show was outperforming Kyle XY :(

If you really want to see the show continue go sign this petition and spread the word because we need 100,000 signatures to try convincing ABC Family.

I loved the 3rd season. It was my favorite. I loved the Jessi moving in with the Trager's dynamic and how Jessi and Lori got closer like sisters. I also personally wanted Jessi with Cassidy, loathed her with Kyle. Plus I got my favorite ship coming to fruition- Lori and Mark, Always hated her with Declan. Too bad it got cancelled- it could have given writers a chance to devolve into the Declan/Hilary aspect- they just completely dropped that after the first two episodes only to bring it back in episode 8 out of nowhere- and it stunk that Hilary suddenly decided that she didn't want Declan because she cared about her and Lori's BFFship- Pfft! Declan and Hilary belonged together as did Lori with Mark.

well i only just now watched the first season, i wasn't interested in it when it was originally aired. i have to say, i can totally understand the cancellation!
season 2 has lost me completely. i enjoyed season 1 alot, but the end of the season was bad and i had a feeling it was going to take a wrong turn, and i was right. it shifted from an interesting teen drama with a touch of sci fi, to a full time sci fi bordom, govermental concpiricies, and quite frankly, as soon as i found out Kyle's real story, i lost interest all together.
also, he really is a very annoying character, isn't he?

So to everyone wondering why it was cancelled, it was a matter of Money. Just as every aspect of our world, money rules. And it turns out that one little show that first aired in 2009, (the third season of Kyle XY) pulled in 2.8 million viewers while Kyle XY only pulled in 2.5 million viewers. So since ABC family needed to make a decision go on with a show that produced 2.5 or 2.8 million viewers they decided to go with the one that produced 2.8 million viewers. Honestly, I can't believe their decision, Kyle XY was a very different show then what they usually put out and it at least had better actors then the show that they choose over Kyle XY. What show you may ask? It was "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" obviously america wanted to see teens get pregnant rather than explore the adventures of Kyle XY.
