Really.. The whole movie looks so artifical, you never believe Pandora is a real place.. It's more of a Video Game.
The characters are thin and the Story is more like Pocahontas in Space.
What happened to Cameron? I Love his movies; Titanic and Terminator 1+2 are some of my all-time-favorites, but after 12 years he hadn't a better script? That's really annoying
its a horrible movie... I'd rather sit through and watch the next two michael bay movies then watch this again...

Avatar was tragically mediocre and perhaps nice to look at for people whom like special effects above all else. I came away thinking about how "unobtanium" made it through the final edit and realizing that more often than not, I agree with the villains in movies.
My Cameron rankings from best to worst:
Aliens: A+
Terminator: A+
Terminator 2: A+
True Lies: A
The Abyss: A-
Titanic: B-
Avatar: C-
Piranha 2: D- (not really his movie since producer took over after a week)
So, disqualifying Piranha 2, Avatar really IS Cameron's worst film.
