Car Chase?
Not the greatest film ever by any means, but does anyone agree that the muted, rain soaked POV car chase was a really nice idea, really well executed?

I fully agree. It was probably the standout scene in the movie for me. That and the bust at the drug lab.
sharei dunno what movie you guys were watching cause that car chase scene was freaking totally stupid! im not even going to get into details but maybe you should all watch it over, its so dumb, why not just hit the brakes. lol youre all fascinated with i have to say the dumbest part of the movie

They were shooting at the father.
Bobby accelerated to hit their car, but had to fall back.
He finally pulled alongside after his father was shot.
The shooters had sped away.

no they found out where he was hiding and they were after him to kill him they just werent sure which car the father was in.

The Russians also planned to kill Bobby's father. They knew which car he was in.
His father was on a hit list.

That scene affected so strongly ... I actually had nightmares of watching a family member die in the same fashion as Duval's character ... That was without a doubt the best thing in that movie!!

Just saw this movie today and this car scene is definitely one of the best I've car chase scenes I've ever seen.
When they talk about movies being works of art it's because of scenes like these. Excellent.
The car chase was awesome.
