Tamra looked hawkish and old on WWHL. Her hair looks like straw and was pulled back into a ratty ponytail. She seems really angry and her aging valley girl way of talking is very unflattering.
I noticed during last night's episode when she was onstage at the bikini competition, her face looked really old and wrinkly. Tamra looked like the grandmother of all the other competitors.
When she was having lunch or dinner with Kelly - I think? she looked good - thin but fit and attractive. But on stage in the skimpy outfits, not so much. I had a neighbor who after getting divorced went full blown floozy - giant fake boobs, bleach blonde hair, trashy clothes, heavy makeup. She totally ruined herself. She's near 50 and thinks she looks smoking hot - not so much. It's great to want to be in shape and be toned and look good but you can't walk around scantily clad. IMO
I remember a show called 'What Not to Wear" and they had a street sign motto that read "no miniskirts after 29 (?)". I could be mistaken about the age but there does come a point where women need to look (and act) their age in order to be appropriate.
I like how she was saying the gay rumors about Eddie started from Vicki. Those rumors have been talked about in here since his first appearance on the show.
Did anyone catch when Andy read Bethenny's tweet out loud to Tamra about wondering whether Tamra's trainer was also her spiritual guide or something....and Tamra sat there anxiously analyzing Bethenny's words in her head, trying to figure out whether to be offended and start beef w/ Bethenny or not. LOL
Tamra is a beast, she is always on the defensive and ready for a fight.
She comes across so shrill- she kept repeating herself in her valley girl accent and it makes her seem like a pathetic aging beauty queen has been.
That being said, she is in good shape physically, if only she could start acting and dressing like a grown woman. Every woman wants to look good- wrinkle cream, spanks, a good bra, a good hair stylist are all great things to have in a woman's " arsenal". I don't even think it is a big deal if a woman wants to get Botox now and then. However, my Gran told me her wrinkles and laugh lines were earned. She was grateful to have lived a long happy life and the lines on her face proved it.
Nothing is more attractive than a woman that is comfortable and confident in her own skin. That doesn't try to portray herself as something she isn't.
I am on the same page. No one is perfect and we all may do some small things to enhance our natural beauty, etc. - I think it's smart to try and flatter yourself in a sensible way. I also am not against a woman or man doing a little Botox or a little tweak,(for example, a woman who is an A cup wanting to go to a B or small C) but the extent that people go to these days is sometimes shocking. It gives off a sense of low self esteem. We all have things we don't like about ourselves and I think learning to accept or even love those things builds character. Sometimes the things we dislike most about ourselves are our most beautiful assets and what makes us unique. Like Cindy Crawford with the beauty mark on her face
