Unrealistic
I'm watching the movie right now, and yeah it's a bit funny, but the unrealistic turn of events just distracts me.
1.) A flight attendant will always check your ticket to see if you are at the right gate. Especially after 9/11? Heck yeah they'd check. The lady did check her ticket (from what I recall) why didn't she notice that her boarding pass was for Denver?
2.) A flight from San Diego to Los Angeles would not be a big commercial flight. I've been on a flight from SD to LA, it's charter. You know, those small planes where you actually have to step onto a landing strip in order to get on and off?
3.) Why would Drake and Josh waste money on getting on a plane to LA in order to chase after Megan? That would take too long and cost too much money. You'd have to wait for the flight time, wait to board, etc etc. Instead you can always drive there within a matter of 2 hours (depending on how fast you drive and if you know the routes). Tickets to LA by plane is way expensive, while a gas tank is not. Only about 40 bucks round trip by car. I do it all the time.
4.) (This one is minor) Presidential Suites are usually key access only, so how did Drake get up there?
There are a few other things that bother me, but those are the big ones that irratate me because in order to get drawn into a story, there are certain elements that need to be realistic. If those certain elements are not realistic, than it becomes distracting.
I know, I know, chill out, it's just a simple TV movie. Still, it doesn't make sense.
