shareOh, that would be cool! Didn't he get a mention in the series finale? I seem to remember that.
shareHe did, not by name, just a nod to his obsessive compulsive ways. Would be good to see at the very least a cameo.
shareI remember watching some promos on Youtube a while ago, that featured both Shawn and Monk (I hope I'm not imagining those). But, yes, I agree, it would be fun to see those two "clash", even if it is a brief cameo.
shareI remember those promos from when they originally aired on tv.Some of them also featured Anthony Michael Halls character from the Dead zone.
shareI never watched that, but I heard it got cancelled on a cliff hanger at the end of season 6. Id imagine if anyone deserves a wrap up movie, its fans of that show. 6 years is a hell of long time to then get left in limbo.
shareI don't recall any cliffhanger.I do remember it kind of went down hill after the first few seasons. They dragged that Greg Stillson arc on way too long and tied it up in a very lackluster way.
share"The Dead Zone The sixth season ended with
a vision of nuclear armageddon, and the hint that it could be partly Johnny's fault. The season finale revealed that Johnny's father was alive, and brought up a zillion new plot threads — none of which we ever got to see resolved.
"
I didnt watch it, just read about it being cancelled. Ive always thought that ending a show properly is the least you go do after so many years. If not for the fans, than at least for the DVD/bluray sales of the "complete series".
Sorry for spoilers.I don't know how to black out sentences like that.If I remember correctly Johnny does find his father alive but he dies anruptly there after. And the Stillson/Armageddon arc was somehow averted when Sarah chose Johnny over Stillson.at least thats how I recall it.No loose ends.
shareFrom what I read its the opposite that happened. Because sarah left stillson the armageddon future started up again.
Like I said though, never watched it. Just everything I says there was supposed to be a season 7 but crap ratings and the writers strike at the time ended it with a proper ending.
They really need to do a crossover movie. The pandemic would be a nightmare for Monk, though.
