One scene to prove that Adam Sandler deserved an Oscar for this

The Courtroom Scene.

I don't think I've ever felt more depressed in my entire life. That scene was incredibly emotional and well performed by Sandler. Some people say he was wrong for this part, I disagree. I believe that maybe Sandler was robbed of an Oscar nomination.

I thought Adam did a great job in the movie, but I'm sorry but I don't think it was Oscar worthy. There were several classic "Sandler" moments where I could see Adam Sandler the "personality" instead of the character. He wasn't seamless in blending totally into his character. Just my opinion!

I wish I had of seen this at the movies. I eventually saw it on dvd when I picked up a cheap copy, because, honestly, I didnt think it would be this good. I dont even know why I watched it because I remember it not looking appealing to me at all. But its turned out to be one of my fave movies with the best performances from Cheadle and especially Sandler. Even the woman who played the crazy patient of Cheadles (sorry dont know her name) was great.

I bet Adam Sandlers a bit p*$$ed he didnt get an Oscar nom because he most certainly deserved one. Even in his comedies you can tell he's got some real acting talent. But he's so hilarious it doesnt quite clearly show and everyone just thinks of him as a comic and thats it

I thought he was amazing, and I was surprised because the closest thing I saw to Sandler's dramatic acting before this was the last 30 minutes of Click. I thought that the courtroom scene was great, especially when he started screaming along to the song and got escorted out

Why so serious?

I thought he should of won the Oscar for the scene in Liv Tyler's office where he breaks down and tells them the story of his family.

I love this movie and think Sandler did a great job, however, no way an oscar nod, more of a golden globe performance.
